WHAT WE REJECTED
Asking the family to log every dose
Caregivers were already stretched thin. Anything that added one more daily task would be abandoned by the first week.
THE PROTOTYPE
165+ different pill samples, Built the mechanism 7 times
An Indian medicine drawer is not uniform from thyroid pills the size of a grain to calcium tablets you can barely swallow. Six mechanisms worked beautifully until one shape jammed them.
WHAT WE REJECTED
Anything that bothered users
Our cleanest mechanism failed on the smallest tablet. We kept the one that survived all 165 shapes.
